What it does

Each capability by country. Integrated means Unirail’s adapter does it today; listed means SurePay offers it according to its public documentation, and Unirail can’t route it yet.

Verification

    UK Confirmation of Payee: asks the payee's bank whether the name matches the sort code and account number.

  • Verification of Payeeverification.vop

    EU Verification of Payee: asks the payee's PSP whether the name matches the IBAN, as the Instant Payments Regulation requires.

Custody

Who holds the money while a payment through SurePay is in flight. Unirail records custody on every leg, and your routing policy decides which kinds are allowed.

    Nobody holds the money. The payer’s bank pays the payee’s bank directly; the provider only instructs it.

Who is regulated

Listed by Pay.UK as a Confirmation of Payee aggregator; Unirail hasn't checked its own regulatory status.

With your own contract, you stay the provider’s customer. Unirail acts as your technical service provider and calls SurePay with your credentials.
