Stripe Identity

ListedIdentity

Document and selfie checks through a Stripe account, and US SSN checks.

What it does

Each capability by country. Integrated means Unirail’s adapter does it today; listed means Stripe Identity offers it according to its public documentation, and Unirail can’t route it yet.

Account schemes

    Custody

Who holds the money while a payment through Stripe Identity is in flight. Unirail records custody on every leg, and your routing policy decides which kinds are allowed.

    • noneNo custody

Nobody holds the money. The payer’s bank pays the payee’s bank directly; the provider only instructs it.

    Who is regulated

Not a payment provider; it processes identity data for the platform. Unirail hasn't checked its regulatory status.

    Credentials

Stripe Identity has no adapter yet, so there is no folder layout to create. It will appear here when the provider is integrated.
