PayNow QR
Singapore person-to-person payments by QR code to a PayNow proxy, attested rather than confirmed.
What it does
Each capability by country. Integrated means Unirail’s adapter does it today; listed means PayNow QR offers it according to its public documentation, and Unirail can’t route it yet.
Banking
- Single payments
banking.pis.singleOne immediate payment from the payer's bank account, approved by the payer at their bank.
- listedSG
The payer pays a PayNow QR code in their own banking app, so the payment is attested rather than confirmed. From this listing's earlier research; not re-checked yet.

Custody
Who holds the money while a payment through PayNow QR is in flight. Unirail records custody on every leg, and your routing policy decides which kinds are allowed.
- noneNo custody
Nobody holds the money. The payer’s bank pays the payee’s bank directly; the provider only instructs it.
Who is regulated
No intermediary; the payer's bank executes over FAST.
Onboarding
- Sandbox
- No sandbox
- Production
- Self-serve
No provider: Unirail generates the SGQR payload and the payer pays in their own banking app. There is no completion signal.
Credentials
PayNow QR has no adapter yet, so there is no folder layout to create. It will appear here when the provider is integrated.
